2. Rinse your mouth with warm water to clean the affected area.
3. Use a cold compress to reduce swelling.
4. If you have severe bleeding, apply gentle pressure with gauze or a clean cloth.
5. Avoid using over-the-counter painkillers directly on the gums, as they may cause damage.
